What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers defects of materials or workmanship in your new Acroprint hardware purchased on or after January 1, 2014:
For hardware products purchased new prior to January 1, 2014, Acroprint’s one year limited warranty applies.
The warranty remains in effect for the stated term, providing the device
is purchased and retained within the United States of America.
If the product has been purchased or transferred for use outside the U.S.A., you must contact the dealer or store from which the equipment was purchased if service or repairs are needed.
How long does this coverage last?
This warranty lasts for the period of time indicated above for your product. Typewheels noted above are warranted against defect for the lifetime of the clock. Your warranty commences from the date of purchase and is valid for the original purchaser of the product. You may be required to furnish proof of purchase in order to receive warranty coverage.
What will Acroprint do?
Acroprint will repair or replace any defective component or part and/or perform necessary repairs free of charge in accordance with our warranty policy. You must pay the shipping charges to transport the product to our factory service center.
What does this warranty NOT cover?
This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence,
accidents, power surges or lightning and other acts of nature. The warranty
is void if the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed or if the
device has been tampered with or taken apart by anyone other than service
personnel authorized by Acroprint to perform warranty repairs.
The warranty does not cover consumable items such as ribbons, time cards and fingerprint scanner plates. It does not cover labor cost for removing or reinstalling the product for repair.
This warranty does not apply to software, custom-built products, OEM products, used / factory-reconditioned products or products purchased from sellers other than Acroprint Time Recorder Company or an Acroprint Authorized Reseller or Dealer.
Except as specifically provided above, Acroprint makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to the product, including quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. In no even shall Acroprint be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product. In any case, Acroprint’s maximum liability shall be to refund the purchase price of the product upon return of the product to Acroprint.
This warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive an in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. No Acroprint dealer, distributor, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification or addition to this warranty.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
How do you get service?
In order to get service under the terms of this warranty, you must first contact Acroprint Time Recorder Company to get a Warranty Repair Authorization (WRA) number. Contact us by calling 1-919-872-5800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You must include this WRA in the box with the product when shipping the product for warranty service.
Once you have the WRA number, securely pack the product in the original carton or an equivalent. Ship, prepaid and insured, to our factory service center:
