PayClock EZ and prior versions of PayClock Pro
supported only 1 concurrent user. PayClock Pro Version
4 now comes standard with a 3 user license so that a
wider range of your management team can access the
system and help control labor costs. For companies with
more supervisors and managers that need access to time
card data, licenses for 6, 9, 12 or 24 users are
available Additional license fees apply.
Local area network compatible – Software can now be
installed on a server and accessed from other
workstations.
Underlying technology is modern, allows database
backups, key processing, and security management to take
place on a secured server. Clients may or may not
install software locally depending upon concurrent user
requirements and company policies. To help ease network
administrative burdens for small businesses, the
PayClock Pro "Server" software is designed to run on the
popular Windows XP or Windows 2000 operating systems
rather than on Windows Server 2000/2003.
PayClock Pro now offers an unlimited ability to have
employees punch in at their computer workstations. This
optional software upgrade, called PC Click, is only $99
for an entire PayClock Pro system and is limited only by
the number of employees licensed on the main PayClock
Pro system.
PayClock now supports behind the scenes seamless
integration with the latest 2005 QuickBooks Pro, Premier
and Enterprise edition products. This integration
ensures employees, pay codes and payable hours are
always up to date and synchronized between the two
applications making payroll preparation fast, easy, and
accurate.
Now users can get a status of their entire PayClock
system at a glace with the new MyWorkforce start
screen. Keep up with employee hours, who's in and out,
the last time the system was polled and much more with
this handy tool.
The entire PayClock Pro system has been updated with
the familiar look and feel of Microsoft Windows XP.
This new user interface is easy to use and helps new
users get up to speed faster than ever.
Companies can now use the PayClock system to track
time off, sick, and vacation time. Enter an employee's
vacation balance and track their use of this non-work
time as the year progresses. The system has been
further enhanced allowing global edits of time off so
that an entire workforce or department can be modified
at one time to add a holiday or other non-work time
event.
Now users can enter notes on individual employee time
cards for each day to explain the circumstances around
absences, department transfers or other events. Notes
may be viewed on the timecard or accessed from a variety
of new or enhanced reports.
More departments
Up to 300 four digit departments versus the 50 two
digit departments available in PayClock EZ. With Pro,
three of the positions also allow for multiple level
labor tracking.
New Report Manager with custom report writing
An entirely new graphical report writer now allows
users to define their own custom reports and templates
using a simple, step-by-step process. Users can add new
fields, change formatting and much more to customize
their PayClock Pro system to their needs.
Low-cost Ethernet terminal option
As your company grows, so may its need for a more
feature rich time clock. PayClock Pro Version 4 now
provides a seamless upgrade path to the Lathem PC400TX
terminal. With the PC400TX terminal you will be able to
utilize all of your existing badges and just tap into
your existing Ethernet network cabling.
* The term "server" refers to the interaction between
the software components of the PayClock Pro system
rather than the operating systems. PayClock Pro is
designed for Windows XP or 2000 to ensure simplicity and
compatibility with most small business systems.
PayClock Pro is not designed for the less common
operating systems, Windows Server 2000 and Windows
